The inspector will check your attic, crawl space and basement. They’ll also check anything that’s made of wood – baseboards, window frames, door frames and cabinets – as well as closets, bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms. Outside of your home, the inspector will examine any wooden structures, wood fences, piles of wood or firewood, wood mulch and cracks in expansion joints and brick. We check for mud tubes, Frass, damaged wood, swarms, wings, bubbling or buckling of wood and live termites.
A general mold inspection will start with an inspection of the space for visible signs of mold and concentrate on one or more areas of high moisture—such as a basement that has been flooded and bathrooms and laundry rooms. Additional services include Moisture mapping, Air and Surface sampling, and HVAC duct examination. Please call to discuss the size of the home and services needed.
